Birth lists
All moms to be can now go directly to Filou & Friends to put in a birth gift list. You can draw up your birth gift list as you like in one of our Filou & Friends shops. Our staff will be delighted to provide professional advice and to help you choose the right clothing from our P'TIT FILOU collection for your birth gift list. And don't forget our Underwear collection either!!
When you set up a birth list with us, you will receive free underwear for six years and your baby will be over the moon about its very first soft toy. This promotion is valid from 16/11 to 31/12/11 in all Filou & Friends stores for all birth lists for minimum € 150. You will receive a free soft toy and you will receive one underwear set every year for six years (underwear set = body: up to two years or pants and vest: up to six years)
When you close the list, you will receive a discount of 10% on the total amount of the birth list which you will receive in the form of a gift voucher valid for an unlimited amount of time.

Submitting a list
- A birth gift list is submitted in a Filou & Friends shop of your choice, preferably by appointment.
- The future parents get a present upon submitting the birth gift list.
- There are free cards with the details of the shop available to accompany the birth announcement.
- The items chosen are in the shop where the list was submitted, and thus may not be purchased in another shop.
- The parents can still add items to the birth gift list up to 2 weeks after the baby is born
Internet
- The birth gift list may be placed online as soon as the birth is announced in the shop
- Well wishers may thus order gift items on the Internet
- The parents can monitor the list via the Internet by means of a parent module provided with a login and a password. This makes it possible to track which items are still open on the birth gift list and which have been purchased as presents and by whom.
There is a related mini website for the parents, where they can open a guest book, for instance, and upload photos of the baby
Ordering a gift
- A well wisher may order a gift in three ways:
1. In the shop where the birth gift list was submitted
2. By phoning the shop where the birth gift list was submitted
3. Via the Internet - A gift may be an item selected by the parents as well as a gift certificate for an amount of one's choice. Gift certificates are valid for an unspecified period.
- A well wisher can pick up the order himself or herself on the shop or can opt to have the gift given to the parents (always once payment has been received)
Closing the birth gift list
- The birth gift list can be closed up to 3 months after the birth of the baby, likewise preferably by appointment, in the shop
- Items not purchased by well wishers must be purchased without fail by the parents
- When the list is closed, the parents receive a 10% discount on the total of the birth gift list in the form of a gift certificate, which remains valid for an unspecified period.
